Meet Dr. Stephanie Chen
Dr. Stephanie Chen offers comprehensive pediatric dental care for children in the Charlotte community. Our mission is to provide a dental home for all children from infancy to young adulthood. Our team of administrative staff, dental hygienists, and dental assistants strive to making our visits happy, pleasant and comfortable. We provide regular dental checkups, preventative services, education and restorative care. We understand the importance of establishing a good regimen early for a healthy and happy smile. We also specialize in serving children with special health care needs. We are here to support your child’s dental journey with personalized and compassionate care.
Dr. Chen opened up her pediatric dental practice in 1999 and has maintained being a solo practitioner for over 25 years. Dr. Chen is a board certified pediatric dentist and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University with a bachelors in Nursing. She then went on to receive a Doctorate in Dentistry at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Chen completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a specialty certificate and Masters Degree. Dr. Chen is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, North Carolina Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Charlotte Dental Society.
Dr. Chen loves meeting families from their first dental visit to watching them graduate from college.
Outside the office, Dr. Chen enjoys gardening, fly fishing, scuba diving and traveling with her husband, Dr. Tom Arkle, a retired orthodontist.
